Founded on All Saints Day November 1, 1776 by Spanish Catholics of the Franciscan Order, San Juan Capistrano has the distinction of being home to the oldest building in California still in use, a chapel built in 1782.
A couple weeks ago I spent a couple hours shooting an engagement shoot with Chris Diset at the mission. It was impossible to ignore all of the amazing old structures and beautifully landscaped grounds. If you have never visited the Mission I strongly suggest you do! It is a great place to have a lunch date with your honey or teach the kids that there was actually life before the idiot box (tv) and video games!!
